• Passed/Appearing BE/B.Tech/B.Pharma/B.Arch/B.Sc. Research/M.Sc./MA/MCA/ME/M.Tech/Dual Degree/ Integrated Course.

IIT GATE 2026 Exam Notification 2025 :  Instruction of Photo

• Descent Quality Latest Passport Size Color Photo with White Background.
• Face Should be Occupy at least 75% of Photo.

IIT GATE 2026 Exam Notification 2025 :  Instruction of Thumb and Signature

• Draw Rectangular Box 3 CM. X 5 CM. on A4 Size, Mark Your Left Thumb Impression within Draw box.
• Draw Rectangular Box 2 CM. X 7 CM. on A4 Size Paper, Sign within Draw Box on Black/Blue Pen in Running Hand.

How to Download GATE 2026 Admit Card

• Visit the official GATE 2026 portal at https://gate2026.iisc.ac.in (hosted by IISc Bangalore).
• Click on the "Download Admit Card" or "Candidate Login" link (available from January 3, 2026 onwards).
• Log in using your Enrollment ID / Email and Password created during registration.
• Solve the captcha if prompted and click "Login".
• Your GATE 2026 Admit Card will be displayed on the screen with details like exam date, time, center, and instructions.
• Download the Admit Card PDF and take a color printout on A4 sheet.
• Carry the printed admit card along with a valid original photo ID (Aadhaar, Passport, Voter ID, etc.) to the exam center.

Note: Admit Card is mandatory for entry. Verify all details (name, photo, exam center, date: February 1, 2, 15 & 16, 2026). No candidate will be allowed without it. In case of discrepancy, contact GATE helpdesk immediately via the portal. No admit card will be sent by post/email.
